Description | Bermoprofen (AD-1590) is an orally active non-steroidal anti-inflammatory compound with anti-inflammatory and analgesic activity used in the study of gastric ulcers. |
In vitro | Bermoprofen is coated onto immediate-release granules (IRG) with a film solution composed of ethyl cellulose and hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (3:2) by spraying, thereby obtaining three types of sustained-release granules (RRGs) to prolong its duration of action and reduce its side effects[1]. |
In vivo | In male albino rabbits weighing 2.3-3 kg, Bermoprofen (0.04, 0.4, 0.1 mg/kg; oral; administered 1 hour after intravenous injection of LPS) significantly inhibited the rise in rectal temperature[2]. |
