| In vitro | 28-Deoxonimbolide exhibited potent cytotoxic activity against HL60 (leukemia), A549 (lung), AZ521 (stomach), SK-BR-3 (breast), and CRL1579 (melanoma) cells, with IC50 values of 2.7 μM, 9.3 μM, 2.4 μM, 1.7 μM, 14.2 μM, and 2.7 μM, respectively[1]. 28-Deoxonimbolide induced early apoptosis in HL60 cells. The ratio of early apoptotic cells was increased after 8 h (10.9% vs 6.1% of negative control) and 24 h (18.7% vs 3.5% of negative control), and that of late apoptotic cells (upper right) was increased after 24 h (28.1% vs 2.9% of negative control)[1]. 28-Deoxonimbolide diminished the levels of procaspases-8, -9, and -3, and then increased the levels of cleaved caspases-8, -9, and -3[1]. |

Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO
to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO
stock solution to 400 μL PEG300
and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.
3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2O
and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
