In vitro
XRP44X is an indirect inhibitor of Net phosphorylation, acting upstream of Erk-1/2 activation. XRP44X inhibits luciferase activity with an IC50 of approximately 10 nM[1]. At 10 nM, XRP44X inhibits the growth of HUVEC, NIH3T3, HCT-116, and NIH3T3–Ki-Ras cells[1]. At 100 nM, it inhibits phosphorylation of Mek-1/2 and Raf-1[1].
In vivo
XRP44X, an inhibitor of Ras/Erk activation of the transcription factor Elk3, demonstrates therapeutic potential for refractory asthma[1] by reducing tumor growth and metastasis in nude mice[2].

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:

1) Add 100 μL of the DMSOTargetMol | reagent stock solution to 400 μL PEG300TargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
