Description
UK-396082 is a thrombin-activated fibrinolysis inhibitor (TAFI) that inhibits Carboxypeptidase B. It is used in the study of thrombosis, atherosclerosis, cancer, and fibrotic conditions.
In vitro
UK-396082 induced TAFI activity in NRK52E cells in a dose-dependent manner at concentrations ranging from 0-1000 nM for 96 hours. After 24 hours of treatment at 500 nM, UK-396082 significantly increased fibrinolytic activity in NRK52E cells (109% increase) and also in NRK49F fibroblasts (38.3% increase). In addition, UK-396082 reduced extracellular matrix (ECM) levels in NRK52E cells by 46% under the same conditions (500 nM, 24 hours). [1]

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:

1) Add 100 μL of the DMSOTargetMol | reagent stock solution to 400 μL PEG300TargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.

2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.

3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2OTargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
