| Description | Felypressin acetate (PLV-2) is an agonist of vasopressin 1 and acts on all arginine vasopressin receptors 1AS. Felypressin acetate can be used in dental procedures. |
| In vitro | Felypressin is a synthetic posterior pituitary hormone with vasoconstrictive properties mediated through V1 receptors in blood vessel smooth muscle cells[4]. |
| In vivo | In Wistar rats, Felypressin (240 ng/kg; i.v.) induces a pressor effect and bradycardic effect depending on V1 receptors to induce pressor and bradycardic effects. Felypressin produces a high relationship between bradycardia and mean arterial pressure vari |
