Description	Eichlerianic acid is a natural tetracyclic triterpenoid isolated from the plant Dysoxylum lenticellatum. Eichlerianic acid exhibits anti-herpes simplex virus (HSV-1 and HSV-2) activity.
Targets & IC50	HSV1:7.0 μg/mL, HSV2:8.0 μg/mL
In vitro	Method: Vero cells (African green monkey kidney cells) were infected with herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1) or type 2 (HSV-2) and then continuously exposed to Eichlerianic acid (1-10 μg/mL) for 48 h. Antiviral activity was evaluated by observing the cytopathic effect (CPE). Result: Eichlerianic acid exhibited in vitro antiviral activity against HSV-1 and HSV-2, with IC₅₀ values of 7.0 μg/mL and 8.0 μg/mL, respectively [1].

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:

1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO TargetMol | reagent stock solution to 400 µL PEG300 and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.

2) Add 50 µL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.

3) Add 450 µL Saline,PBS or ddH₂O TargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
