Description
Zenidolol (ICI-118551), a selective β2 adrenergic receptor antagonist, demonstrates inhibition of β2-, β1-, and β3-adrenergic receptors with K i values of 0.7, 49.5, and 611 nM, respectively. It is employed as an ocular hypotensive agent in ophthalmic disease research.
In vitro
Ascamycin has a selective antibacterial activity against Xanthomonas species and it has C2-chloroadenine as the base on C-1' which lacks the chlorine.[1] Xanthomonas citri is susceptible to Ascamycin by virtue of the Ascamycin-dealanylating enzyme on the cell surface, When Ascamycin is dealanylated, Dealanylascamycin shows a broad antibacterial activity against various Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria.[2]
