AA-induced platelet aggregation:37.2  μM
In vitro
Moscatin inhibits washed rabbit platelet aggregation in a concentration-dependent manner, showing complete inhibition of AA- and collagen-induced aggregation at 100 μg/mL. Moscatin IC₅₀ against AA-induced aggregation is 37.2 μM, likely by interfering with thromboxane A₂ formation [1].
In vivo
In mouse infection models (systemic and OPC), moscatin injection (20 μg/mL, 200 μL) significantly reduced the pathogenicity of Candida albicans SC5314 [2]. Moscatin restored gut microbiota balance in Candida albicans-infected mice, increasing beneficial bacteria levels and reducing fungal burden [2].
