| Description | Methyl 3,4,5-trimethoxycinnamate (MTC) is a bioactive natural phenylpropanoid. Methyl 3,4,5-trimethoxycinnamate (MTC) was evaluated in RAW264.7 macrophages and RAW264.7-3T3-L1 adipocyte co-culture systems using ELISAs, Griess assay, enzyme immunoassays, cytoblot analysis, DNA binding assays, reporter gene assays, and glucose uptake assays to investigate inflammatory and metabolic signaling responses. Methyl 3,4,5-trimethoxycinnamate (MTC) at 5–20 µM suppressed LPS + IFNγ-induced release of TNFα, IL-6 and IL-1β, as well as NO/iNOS and PGE2/COX-2 levels in RAW264.7 cells. Methyl 3,4,5-trimethoxycinnamate (MTC) also reduced phospho-IκB and phospho-p65 protein levels and total IκB levels in RAW264.7 cells, and is therefore used in immunometabolic signaling research to model inflammatory transcriptional regulation in macrophage–adipocyte co-culture systems. |

Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO
to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO
stock solution to 400 µL PEG300
and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
2) Add 50 µL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.
3) Add 450 µL Saline,PBS or ddH2O
and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
