DiMNF is a modulator that selectively acts on the aromatic hydrocarbon receptor (AHR). As a competitive AHR ligand, DiMNF has an IC50 = 21 nM and exhibits significant antagonistic activity, with DiMNF showing a unique binding mode in the ligand binding site of the AHR. DiMNF effectively inhibited cytokine-induced inflammatory gene expression at a concentration of 10 μM for 1 hour. [1]
