Description
Camonagrel is a compound with inhibitory effects on Prostaglandin E2 (PGE2).
In vivo
In cats camonagrel (10 mg/kg i.v.) produced not only a fall in TXB2 but also a rise in 6-keto-PGF1 alpha and no change in cyclic-GMP plasma levels.[1]
camonagrel (800 mg orally) suppressed TXA2 generation by 99.5% and doubled the plasma level of 6-keto-PGF1 alpha.[1] The greatest reduction in percentage subendothelial surface occupied by platelets (mainly in the thrombi) after blood perfusion was seen after incubation with camonagrel in the range of concentrations that inhibited collagen-induced platelet aggregation. In conclusion, camonagrel reduced platelet-subendothelium interaction under flow conditions, showing this effect in a range of concentrations lower than in inhibition of platelet aggregation.[2]

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:

1) Add 100 μL of the DMSOTargetMol | reagent stock solution to 400 μL PEG300TargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.

3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2OTargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
