| Description | Anticanceragent 210 (Compound 7a) is a derivative of Gefitinib. It inhibits the proliferation, migration, and colony formation of cancer cells and induces apoptosis in H1299 cells. |
| In vitro | Anticancer agent 210 inhibits the proliferation of lung cancer cells NCI-H1299, A549, and NCI-H1437 with IC50 values of 3.94, 3.16, and 1.84 μM, respectively, when used at concentrations of 0-32 μM for 48 hours. This compound exhibits mild cytotoxicity towards normal liver cells L02, with an IC50 of 18.87 μM and maintaining a cell survival rate of over 60% at concentrations of 2-16 μM for 48 hours. Additionally, Anticancer agent 210 induces apoptosis in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cells via the Bcl-2/caspase3/PARP pathway and inhibits NSCLC cell migration by suppressing MMP9 protein expression at 4-16 μM for the same duration. |
| In vivo | The anticancer agent 210, administered as a single oral dose of 400 mg/kg, showed no significant toxicity in Kunming mice. |
