Description	Anisodine is an inhibitor of muscarinic acetylcholine receptors (mAChR) with neuroprotective activity, used in research on multiple myeloma and metastatic breast cancer.
Targets&IC50	OCT1:12.9 µM, OCT2:1.8 mM
In vitro	In HEK293 cells, Anisodine inhibited OCT1 and OCT2 with IC50 of 12.9 µmol/L and 1.8 mmol/L, respectively. [1]
In vivo	Anisodine has protective effect on acute forebrain ischemia-reperfusion injury in rats. [2] Anisodine (10 mg/kg, i.p.) can induce forgetfulness in animal models. [3]
