Description	2,4,6-Tri-tert-butylphenol inhibits the Ca2+ ATPase activity of human red blood cell membranes and can be used in related research in the field of life sciences.
In vitro	2,4,6-Tri-tert-butylphenol exhibits potent agonist activity against RXRα. Exposure to environmentally relevant levels of 2,4,6-Tri-tert-butylphenol significantly promoted adipogenesis in 3T3-L1 cells, as evidenced by increased lipid accumulation and adipogenic gene expression, which was alleviated by the RXRα antagonist UVI 3003.[1]
