Description Zymostenol (5a-Cholest-8-en-3b-ol) is a RORγ agonist with an EC50 of 1 μM.Zymostenol is a late stage precursor of cholesterol biosynthesis.
Targets&IC50 RORγ:1 μM(EC50)
In vitro Zymostenol (12-104 μM) promotes the formation of myelin basic protein-positive (MBP+) oligodendrocytes in mouse ectodermal stem cell-derived oligodendrocyte progenitors.[2]
Zymostenol (20 μM, 3 days) arrests the MCF-7 cell cycle in the G0-G1 phase.[3]
