Description	Nomegestrol (TX 066 free base) is an orally available, selective and potent full agonist of the progesterone receptor with potent anti-estrogenic, partial anti-androgenic and anti-gonadotropic activity.Nomegestrol is also a contraceptive progestin and is used in the study of endometriosis and meningiomas.

In vitro	Nomegestrol is a highly selective full agonist at the progesterone receptor but has little or no binding affinity for other steroid receptors such as the androgen and glucocorticoid receptors. [1] Nomegestrol is a progestin with a high binding affinity for the progesterone receptor and a Kd of 5.44 nM for the rat uterine progesterone receptor. [2]
In vivo	In animal models, Nomegestrol demonstrated moderate antiandrogenic activity and strong antiestrogenic activity. [1]

Stock Solution Preparation:

Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO TargetMol | reagent to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:

1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO TargetMol | reagent stock solution to 400 μL PEG300 and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.

2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.

3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH₂O TargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
