Description
Moracin O, a natural product isolated from Morus alba Linn., exhibits cytotoxicity towards 3T3-L1, RAW 264.7, and HEP 3B cells, inhibits HIF-1, and demonstrates neuroprotective and anti-inflammatory effects.
In vitro
Moracin O can dose-dependently increase the survival rate of neuroblastoma SH-SY5Y cells against oxygen-glucose deprivation (OGD)-induced cell death, with a half-maximal effective concentration (EC₅₀) of 12.6μM [2].
Moracin O can reduce the generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in OGD-induced cell death, with a half-maximal inhibitory concentration (IC₅₀) of 0.3μM [2].
Moracin O can protect nerve cells from oxidative stress damage caused by oxygen-glucose deprivation [2].

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:

1) Add 100 μL of the DMSOTargetMol | reagent stock solution to 400 μL PEG300TargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.

2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.

3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2OTargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
