Description | MAPK-IN-1 (Compound 2) is an inhibitor of MAPK signaling pathway with anti-neuroinflammatory and neuroprotective activity that can be used for the research of Alzheimer's disease. MAPK-IN-1 inhibits AChE with an IC 50 of 23.84 μM [1]. |
In vitro | MAPK-IN-1 (Compound 2) effectively suppresses the release of pro-inflammatory mediators, including NO, IL-1β, IL-6, and TNF-α, in BV-2 cells, demonstrating IC 50 values of 0.49 ± 0.17, 1.34 ± 0.21, 9.17 ± 0.17, and 8.17 ± 0.23 μM, respectively [1]. Additionally, it attenuates LPS-induced activation of the MAPK signaling pathway by inhibiting the phosphorylation of JNK, ERK, and p38 [1]. Moreover, MAPK-IN-1 reduces the expression of iNOS, COX-2, and TLR4 in LPS-stimulated BV-2 cells [1]. |
