MAPK-IN-1 (Compound 2) is an inhibitor of the MAPK signaling pathway with anti-neuroinflammatory and neuroprotective activities, suitable for Alzheimer's disease research. It inhibits AChE with an IC50 of 23.84 μM [1].

MAPK-IN-1 (Compound 2) effectively suppresses the release of pro-inflammatory mediators (NO, IL-1β, IL-6, and TNF-α) in BV-2 cells with IC50 values of 0.49 ± 0.17, 1.34 ± 0.21, 9.17 ± 0.17, and 8.17 ± 0.23 μM, respectively [1]. It also attenuates LPS-induced MAPK signaling pathway activation by inhibiting JNK, ERK, and p38 phosphorylation, and reduces expression of iNOS, COX-2, and TLR4 in LPS-stimulated BV-2 cells [1].
