Synonyms: L-Arginine-15N4 hydrochloride, (S)-(+)-Arginine-15N4 hydrochloride

| Description | L-Arginine-15N4 hydrochloride, the 15N-labeled variant of L-Arginine hydrochloride (T0670), serves as the nitrogen donor in the synthesis of nitric oxide. This potent vasodilator is crucial, especially during a sickle cell crisis where its levels are notably diminished. |
| In vitro | Stable heavy isotopes of hydrogen, carbon, and other elements are incorporated into drug molecules primarily as tracers for quantification throughout the drug development process. Deuteration is noteworthy for its ability to alter the pharmacokinetic and metabolic profiles of drugs[1]. |
