| In vivo | Anipamil effectively suppresses the proliferation of smooth muscle cells (SMC), promoting a more differentiated phenotype characterized by the expression of smooth muscle myosin heavy chain (SM-MyHC) compared to untreated controls. In 2K-1C rabbits, oral administration of anipamil (40 mg) significantly reduces or eliminates intimal thickening and decreases the presence of immature SMC types in the media layer. Furthermore, renal function protection is notably enhanced in anipamil (2 mg/kg/day)-treated groups compared with those receiving hydralazine, achieving equivalent blood pressure management. Anipamil also demonstrates efficacy in arrhythmic assays, specifically reducing ventricular tachycardia (VT) at doses of 1.0 mg/kg + 0.10 mg/kg/min or 5.0 mg/kg + 0.50 mg/kg/min, although ventricular fibrillation (VF) remains unaffected. In rats undergoing substantial nephrectomy (five-sixths removed) and treated with anipamil (0.5 mg/kg/day, orally), outcomes are improved, showing lower mortality, better-managed mean arterial blood pressure, and reduced serum creatinine levels compared to controls. |

Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO
to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO
stock solution to 400 μL PEG300
and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.
3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2O
and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
