Description	48740 RP (RP 55779, (Rac)-RP-55778) belongs to synthetic compounds and is a platelet-activating factor (PAF) receptor antagonist with anti-inflammatory activity. This compound can be used in inflammation-related research, exerting its pharmacological effects through inhibition of the PAF/PAFR signaling pathway.

In vivo	Methods: The in vivo activity of 48740 RP was evaluated in Wistar rats: acute toxicity was assessed using the OECD up-and-down method with single oral and intraperitoneal administration, with observation for 14 days. Results: Oral LD₅₀ >2000 mg/kg, intraperitoneal LD₅₀ >1098 mg/kg; pharmacokinetics were evaluated following single intravenous (50 mg/kg), oral (50 mg/kg), and intraperitoneal (75 mg/kg) administration, with oral time to peak of 33 min and bioavailability of approximately 77%. Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:

1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO TargetMol | reagent stock solution to 400 µL PEG300 and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.

2) Add 50 µL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.

3) Add 450 µL Saline,PBS or ddH₂O TargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
