| In vitro | ThioLox (50 μM; 24 h) inhibits the expression of interleukins (IL-1β, IL-6, IL-8, IL-12b, TNFα, and iNOS) in precision-cut lung slices (PCLS). In neuronal cells, ThioLox (10 μM; 16 h) prevents mitochondrial superoxide formation and lipid peroxidation. ThioLox (5-20 μM; 14-16 h) prevents HT-22 cells from glutamate toxicity. ThioLox significantly reduces neuronal cell death[1]. |
| In vivo | The logP value of ThioLox is 3, indicating that it is predicted to effectively penetrate the blood-brain barrier[1]. |

Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO
to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO
stock solution to 400 μL PEG300
and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.
3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2O
and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
