Description
TDI-011536, a potent Lats kinase inhibitor, disrupts Hippo-Yap signaling and promotes the proliferation of lesioned heart muscle cells. This compound is valuable for research in organ conservation and regeneration.
In vitro
TDI-011536 (3 µM; 24 h) reduces Yap phosphorylation and (3 µM; 5 days) induces Müller glia proliferation in human retinal organoids[1].
In vivo
TDI-011536 (200 mg/kg; i.p.; once) inhibits Lats and reduces pYap levels for over 4 hours in the liver, heart, and skin, while TDI-011536 (100 mg/kg; i.p.; once daily for 2 or 3 days) exhibits a proliferative effect on cardiomyocytes[1].
