| In vitro | Methods: MIA PaCa-2 cells were treated with Oxythiamine chloride HCl (0–40 μM) for 2 days. Results: Oxythiamine chloride HCl inhibited the viability of MIA PaCa-2 cells, with an IC50 of 14.95 μM. Methods: MIA PaCa-2 cells were treated with Oxythiamine chloride HCl (0–500 μM) for 48 hours. | In vivo | Methods: Ehrlich ascites tumor-bearing mice were intraperitoneally injected with Oxythiamine chloride HCl (100–500 mg/kg, i.p.) for 4 consecutive days. Results: Oxythiamine chloride HCl inhibited tumor growth in Ehrlich ascites tumor-bearing mice [2]. Methods: Mice subcutaneously implanted with LLC cells were intraperitoneally injected with Oxythiamine chloride HCl (250 or 500 mg/kg) once daily for 5 consecutive weeks. Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO
to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO
stock solution to 400 μL PEG300
and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.
3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2O
and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
