Description
CWHM-1552 is an effective Plasmodium falciparum inhibitor. For the 3D7 and Dd2 strains, the IC50s are 51 nM and 53 nM.

In vivo
In P. chabaudi ASS-infected mice, oral administration of CWHM-1552 inhibits parasitemia at 99.9% and 94% at doses of 30 mg/kg and 10 mg/kg, respectively. In KM mice, intravenous injection of CWHM-1552 (2 mg/kg) shows a T1/2 of 2.7 h and low clearance[1].
