| In vitro | CGP 20376 (1 micron/ml) reduction of motility of 98-100% after 24 hours of exposure occurred at levels. After exposure for 1 h CGP 20376 immobilized 100% of the microfilariae irreversibly at a drug level of 1 microgram/ml. Whereas no significant immobilization was seen with CGP 6140 after one hour.[5] |
| In vivo | CGP 20376 (20 mg/kg orally) had a rapid and profound reduction, but by 137 d.p.t. microfilarial skin densities were approaching pre-treatment levels. By 137 d.p.t. embryogenesis was almost completely interrupted in the CGP 20376 treated animals and the majority of remaining intrauterine microfilariae were pathologically altered.[1] |

Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO
to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO
stock solution to 400 μL PEG300
and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.
3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2O
and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
