In vitro
Selcopintide (Cpne7-DP) acetate directly penetrates into odontoblastic (MDPC-23) cells [1]. Additionally, Selcopintide acetate at dosages of 1 and 10 μg enhances the activity of the dspp promoter in a dose-dependent manner [1].
In vivo
Selcopintide (Cpne7-DP; 10 µg in 0.5% fibrin gel mixed with human DPC cells before subcutaneous transplantation) acetate facilitates dentin-like tissue formation and regenerates tubular dentin, including dentinal tubule occlusion, in both shallow and deep cavity models [1].

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:

1) Add 100 μL of the DMSOTargetMol | reagent stock solution to 400 μL PEG300TargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.

2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.

3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2OTargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
