Bioactivity
Description
JD-02 is a novel Hsp90 inhibitor that can induce autophagy and apoptosis in cells. Additionally, JD-02 elevates levels of reactive oxygen species (ROS).
In vitro
JD-02 inhibits the growth of HTC116 and SW620 cells at concentrations of 0–2 μM over 24, 48, and 72 hours. Additionally, JD-02 at 1 μM for 36 to 72 hours induces G0/G1 phase arrest in these cells. Furthermore, JD-02 at 1 μM for 48 hours triggers apoptosis in HTC116 and SW620 cells.
In vivo
JD-02 (5, 10, and 20 mg/kg; intraperitoneal injection; 21 days) was effective in reducing tumor growth in the HCT116 cell xenograft mouse model.Animal Model: HCT116 cell xenograft mouse model Dosage: 5, 10, and 20 mg/kg Administration: Intravenous injection for 21 days Result: reduced tumor growth by 64.3%.
