| Description | Ginger extract demonstrates anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory, and chemotherapeutic properties in vivo. Ginger extract is utilized in biomedical research exploring phytochemical-mediated signaling pathways, inflammation-associated molecular networks, and tumor microenvironment modulation in animal model systems. |
| In vivo | Methods:Rats were intragastrically administered with ginger extract at 100 mg/kg for 8 consecutive weeks. The incidence of liver tumors was counted, and the expression level of NF-κB in liver tissues was detected. Results:Ginger extract reduced the incidence of liver tumors and inhibited the abnormally high expression of NF-κB in rats with liver cancer [1]. |
