Description
Folitixorin (ANX-510) is an active folate derivative and coenzyme associated with thymidine synthesis, with potential antitumour activity.
In vivo
5-FU (30 mg/kg, intravenous injection) and Folitixorin (15 mg/kg or 30 mg/kg, intravenous injection) were administered intrahepatically to rodents with colon adenocarcinoma cell suspensions. The combination of these two drugs abolished tumor uptake, regardless of folic acid dose. [1]
