| Description | Flusulfinam is an HPPD inhibitor and herbicide (Herbicide) with an IC50 of 0.0181 μM for Arabidopsis thaliana HPPD. It inhibits the catalytic activity of recombinant Arabidopsis thaliana HPPD and demonstrates strong herbicidal activity against barnyard grass (Echinochloa crus-galli). Additionally, Flusulfinam suppresses the growth of crabgrass (Digitaria sanguinalis). |
| In vitro | Flusulfinam (0.94-30 g a.i. ha-1) exhibits potent herbicidal activity against Echinochloa crus-galli, causing leaf chlorosis and plant death, with a GR50 of 3.7235 ± 0.7995 g a.i. ha-1. At a concentration of 25 mg/L, Flusulfinam reduces chlorophyll content in Spirodela polyrhiza. The compound strongly inhibits the catalytic activity of recombinant Arabidopsis HPPD in vitro, with an IC50 of 0.0181 ± 0.0021 μM, showing 16 times the potency of Mesotrione. When applied as a foliar spray, Flusulfinam inhibits the growth of Digitaria sanguinalis, with an EC50 of 21.91 mg/L. |

Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO
to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO
stock solution to 400 µL PEG300
and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
2) Add 50 µL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.
3) Add 450 µL Saline,PBS or ddH2O
and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
