| Description | Coelenterazine h (2-Deoxycoelenterazine) hydrochloride is a derivative of coelenterazine and serves as a luminescent substrate for RLuc8. It exhibits heightened sensitivity to Ca2+, making it an invaluable tool for detecting subtle changes in Ca2+ concentration. |
| In vitro | Coelenterazine h (1-10 μM) hydrochloride serves as a luminescent substrate for RLuc8. In the measurement of Ca 2+ binding kinetics of BRAC, 5 nM BRAC protein is rapidly mixed with 20 μM Coelenterazine h hydrochloride in Ca 2+ buffers of varying concentrations, and the Venus (530 nm) emission intensity of BRAC is monitored at 1 kHz. |
