| In vitro | Methods: Chemerin-9 (149-157) TFA (500nM) was used to treat primary microglia stimulated by Aβ42 oligomers to investigate the effects of Chemerin-9 (149-157) TFA on cellular phagocytic ability and inflammatory response. Results: Chemerin-9 (149-157) TFA enhanced the phagocytic capacity of microglia toward Aβ and suppressed NLRP3 inflammasome activation.[1] |
| In vivo | Methods: Chemerin-9 (149-157) TFA (0.2 mg/kg) was intraperitoneally injected into PDM mice to evaluate the effects of chemerin-9 on blood glucose, insulin resistance (IR), and the expression of GLUT2 and PDX1. Results: Chemerin-9 (149-157) TFA treatment significantly increased serum chemerin levels in PDM mice, upregulated the expression of GLUT2 and PDX1, and improved Vitis vinifera glucose tolerance and IR.[2] |
