| In vitro | In zebrafish embryos, IWP-L6 significantly inhibits the formation of posterior vertebrae, which is dependent on Wnt/β-catenin. IWP-L6 exhibits stability in human plasma (>24 hours) but shows rapid metabolism in rat plasma (half-life: 190 minutes), mouse plasma (half-life: 2 minutes), and mouse liver S9 fractions. |
| In vivo | In cultured embryonic kidneys, IWP-L6 can reversibly block the Wnt signaling pathway, thereby inhibiting Wnt-mediated branching morphogenesis. It also impedes the phosphorylation of Dvl2, a cytoplasmic effector of the Wnt pathway, in HEK293 cells. |
