Description	Tenofovir diphosphate (TFV-DP) is a competitive inhibitor of DNA polymerases, specifically targeting dATP, and functions as a substrate for the reverse transcriptase (RT) of human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1)[1].
In vitro	Tenofovir diphosphate inhibits DNA polymerase (pol). Specifically, it weakly inhibits pol α, δ, and ɛ, with Ki values for PMPApp (PMPAppKi) relative to the Km for dATP (dATPKm) of 10.2, 10.2, and 15.6, respectively [1].
