In vitro
5,10-Methylenetetrahydrofolate undergoes two sequential catalytic reactions, facilitated by methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR) and methionine synthase (MTR), to be converted into S-Adenosyl-L-methionine (SAM).
