Description
PRMT5-IN-34 (Compound C) is an inhibitor of MTA-cooperative protein arginine methyltransferase 5 (PRMT5/MAT).
In vitro
PRMT5-IN-34 demonstrates inhibitory effects on cell proliferation with the following IC 50 values: 0.827 μM (HDLM2), 0.252 μM (L540), 0.077 μM (L1236), 4.638 μM (L428), 0.170 μM (HCT116), and 8.538 μM (HCT116).
In vivo
Administered orally at 25-100 mg/kg once daily for 21 days, PRMT5-IN-34 inhibits tumor growth in an L540HL xenograft mouse model with MTAP silencing, accompanied by a reduction in SDMA protein levels.
