| Description | NAADP receptor modulator-1 is a cell-permeable modulator of NAADP receptors. It competes with NAADP for binding sites and inhibits NAADP-induced Ca2+ release. |
| In vitro | NAADP receptor modulator-1 (Compound 3) effectively and selectively inhibits NAADP-induced Ca²⁺ release in Lytechinus pictus egg homogenates with an IC₅₀ of 15 μM, showing partial agonist activity at concentrations exceeding 100 μM. It exhibits weak competitive binding to [³²P]NAADP in Lytechinus pictus egg homogenates, having an IC₅₀ of 90 μM. NAADP receptor modulator-1 (10 mM) permeates the cell membranes of intact Lytechinus pictus eggs and fully inhibits extracellular-induced NAADP Ca²⁺ release. At 1 mM, this modulator significantly reduces CCK-induced Ca²⁺ oscillations in mouse pancreatic acinar cells with minimal effect on acetylcholine-induced Ca²⁺ response. Furthermore, it completely abolishes NAADP-induced Ca²⁺ transients in intact sea urchin eggs when applied extracellularly at a concentration of 10 mM. |

Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO
to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO
stock solution to 400 µL PEG300
and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
2) Add 50 µL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.
3) Add 450 µL Saline,PBS or ddH2O
and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
