N-methyl-N'-methyl-O-(m-PEG4)-O'-(azide-PEG4)-Cy5 is a PEG-based linker compound employed in PROTAC synthesis [1].
In vitro
PROTACs comprise two distinct ligands linked together: one binds to an E3 ubiquitin ligase, and the other targets a specific protein. By leveraging the intracellular ubiquitin-proteasome system, PROTACs selectively degrade target proteins (Figure S16)[1].
