Description
MC2646 is an effective antiparasitic agent that induces autophagy (autophagic) and activates the AMPK/TFEB pathway.
In vitro
MC2646 (4 µM; 24 h) induces autophagic flux by increasing the LC3-II:LC3-I ratio. Additionally, MC2646 enhances the expression of p-AMPK and promotes the nuclear:cytoplasmic localization of TFEB.
