Description Mazdutide acetate is a potent co-agonist of glucagon-like peptide (GLP-1R) and glucagon receptor (GCGR), a gastrin-regulating hormone analog.Mazdutide acetate stimulates insulin secretion from mouse pancreatic islets, and can be used in studies of obesity and type 2 diabetes (T2D).
In vitro In oral glucose tolerance tests of diet-induced obese (DIO) and streptozotocin-induced diabetic mice, a single subcutaneous (SC) dose of Mazdutide acetate(15, 30 nmol/kg;) significantly reduced glucose area under the curve by up to 65%[3].
