Description
JY-2 is an orally active and selective forkhead transcription factor O1 (FoxO1) inhibitor with antidiabetic activity and inhibits FoxO1 transcription.JY-2 can be used to study psoriasis and diabetes.
In vitro
JY-2, at concentrations ranging from 10 to 100 μM for 24 hours, reduces palmitic acid induced lipotoxicity in HepG2 and INS-1 cells [1].
In vivo
JY-2 exhibits anti-diabetic effects in mice, administered orally at doses of 50-200 mg/kg, either three times over two days or daily for 4 weeks [1].

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:

1) Add 100 μL of the DMSOTargetMol | reagent stock solution to 400 μL PEG300TargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.

2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.

3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2OTargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
