Description
Glycolithocholic acid 3-sulfate (SLCG) is a bile acid derivative and metabolite of glycocholic acid, selectively inhibiting HIV-1 replication in vitro, used in the study of HIV infection.
In vitro
Glycolithocholic acid 3-sulfate (100 μg/ml) fully protected MT-4 cells from HIV-1-induced cellular pathogenicity, while no toxicity to host cells was observed at concentrations of 200 μg/ml. Glycolithocholic acid 3-sulfate inhibited the expression of HIV-1 antigen in HIV-1-infected CEM cells. [1]

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:

1) Add 100 μL of the DMSOTargetMol | reagent stock solution to 400 μL PEG300TargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.

2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.

3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2OTargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
