| Description | Eicosapentaenoic acid-d10 (EPA-d10) is a deuterium-labeled form of Eicosapentaenoic Acid (EPA). EPA is an orally active ω-3 long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acid (ω-3 LC-PUFA) known for its ability to promote DNA demethylation and re-expression of the tumor suppressor gene CCAAT/enhancer-binding protein delta (C/EBPδ). It activates the RAS/ERK/C/EBPβ pathway in U937 leukemia cells by demethylating the H-RAS intron 1 CpG island. Additionally, EPA facilitates the relaxation and vasodilation of vascular smooth muscle cells. |
