Description Dual FAAH/sEH-IN-1 (compound 3) is a high affinity dual inhibitor of FAAH (fatty acid amide hydrolase) and sEH (soluble epoxide hydrolase), with IC50 values of 7 and 9.6 nM, respectively. Dual FAAH/sEH-IN-1 exhibits antinociception against the inflammatory phase.
In vivo In a rat model of acute inflammatory pain, approximately 20 min after injection of formalin, intraperitoneal administration of the higher dose (1mg/kg) of Dual FAAH/sEH-IN-1 attenuates licking and guarding behaviors induced by an intraplantar injection of formalin[1].
