DHODH-IN-31 exhibits antiviral activity, enabling research into infectious diseases such as SARS-CoV-2 and facilitating the development of antiviral therapeutics and mechanistic studies of nucleotide biosynthesis pathways in human cells.

In vitro
DHODH-IN-31 (Compound 10e) exhibits anti-SARS-CoV-2 viral activity with an EC50 value of 0.15 μM [1].
In Vero cells and SH-SY5Y cells, the CC50 values of DHODH-IN-31 in these two cell lines were 26 μM and 180 μM, respectively [1].
In Calu-3 cells, DHODH-IN-31 (0.01-10 μM) can inhibit the replication of the SARS-CoV-2 virus [1].
