| In vitro | D2343 shows in addition an alpha 1-receptor inhibitory activity [1]. The beta 2-agonistic and alpha 1-antagonistic drug D2343 inhibits the evoked contractions in a concentration related fashion with 50% effect at 9.6 μM [2]. |
| In vivo | D2343 demonstrates a capacity to relax uterine muscles comparably or more effectively than Terbutaline, particularly when assessed in rabbit and rat preparations. This comparison extends to oestrogenized uterine preparations from rats and myometrial strips from both species, showcasing D2343's potential efficacy against the beta 2-agonist Terbutaline [1]. |

Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.
Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO stock solution to 400 μL PEG300 and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.
3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2O and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
