Description
β-Tocopherol, a vitamin E analog with antioxidant activity, inhibits tyrosinase activity and melanin production while suppressing PMA-induced human erythrocyte adhesion.
In vitro
β-Tocopherol (250 µg/mL, 72 h) can downregulate the expression levels of tyrosinase and tyrosinase-related protein-2, thereby inhibiting melanin synthesis by 28%, with no significant cytotoxicity observed in B16 cells at this concentration [3].
β-Tocopherol (50 µM, 24 h) suppresses PMA-induced adhesion of human erythroleukemia cells and reduces the expression levels of integrin α4 and α5 on the cell surface [4].

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:

1) Add 100 μL of the DMSOTargetMol | reagent stock solution to 400 μL PEG300TargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.

2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.

3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2OTargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
