| In vitro | Methods:The inhibitory activity of VU0487836 against purified enzymes and intracellular COX-1, COX-2 in tumor cells was determined in vitro, and the corresponding IC₅₀ values were measured. Results: 1.VU0487836 exerted potent and selective inhibition on ovine COX-1 with an IC₅₀ of 0.36 μM, and showed no obvious inhibitory effect on murine COX-2 (IC₅₀ > 25 μM). 2.In human ovarian cancer OVCAR3 cells, VU0487836 selectively inhibited COX-1 with an IC₅₀ of 0.18 μM, while it had no activity against COX-2 in human 1483 head and neck squamous cell carcinoma cells (IC₅₀ > 5 μM) [1]. |

Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO
to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO
stock solution to 400 µL PEG300
and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
2) Add 50 µL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.
3) Add 450 µL Saline,PBS or ddH2O
and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
