| Description | Tubulin polymerization-IN-45, a tubulin-targeting agent, inhibits tubulin polymerization by binding to tubulin's colchicine site, inducing apoptotic cell death in hepatocellular cancer (HCC) cells [1]. |
| In vitro | Tubulin polymerization-IN-45 (compound 18) demonstrates effective activity against hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) cell lines, with IC50 values ranging from 0.6 to 2.9 μM. It also exhibits moderate inhibitory activity on microtubule polymerization (IC50 = 19 μM). Furthermore, Tubulin polymerization-IN-45 causes cell cycle arrest at the G2/M phase in Huh7 and Mahlavu cells and induces apoptosis in HCC cells [1]. |
